For Animal Lovers and Lovers of Travel ~~~from North to South America~~~ From 2003 to 2010 myself and Kenyan-born Dog and Bruiser (both ex-street dogs), shared a journey traveling from North, Central then South America in an ex-surveillance van used by the Arizona police. It was a 1978 350 Chevy purchased for $750. It was an era before selfies and reliance on GPS. I was one of a small number of overlanders discovering how to work on the road using internet. These were the happiest and most creatively productive years of my life. The result was countless magazine articles, over twenty blogs I hope you'll peruse below (all created using html coding), and the books LOS MUTTS and DOGS without BORDERS. After also finishing ON A MISSION FROM DOG, the insulated interior of the ex-surveillance van became a perfect recording studio for the audio version. If one of the links below says "magazine", it means the blog was lost in the ether. Instead, you can download a pdf of a magazine article that I produced with the same photos and written material. I currently have a cabin on the Chilean coast, where I am finishing my first film RALLYING for A WILD LIFE. Please watch for release dates. If you're planning on visiting Chile please check out my AirBnB Room. Publishers: If you're interested in seeing any of the thirty-plus magazine articles that were published during this time, please contact me and I'll send you pdfs.
